STUDENTSwhere will you find mentors to nurture your talent and guide you through tough spots? The poor caliber of replacement professors at ASU is such they do not have the credentials to become your mentors.

It's not clear to me why someone would attack the quality of the ASU faculty. The ASU faculty is terrific.
But where is the research or the facts that support the assertion that "replacement professors" are of "poor caliber?" Just asserting it on a blog doesn't make it so.
A PhD is only the beginning of what it takes to be a good professor. Character, competence, enthusiasm, and leading a balanced life are intangibles that make all the difference.
